FOBHNP Bus Voucher Program
In 2008, Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley issued a groundbreaking executive order creating the Maryland Partnership for Children in Nature—an initiative to ensure Maryland’s youth have opportunities to connect with the natural world and become informed, responsible stewards of our parks and beyond.
At Black Hill Nature Programs, we proudly offer free, curriculum-based environmental education programs to all Montgomery County schools—public, independent, and home schools—serving grades K–12.
The Friends of Black Hill Nature Programs (FOBHNP) is honored to help make this possible by providing bus vouchers to Title I schools in Montgomery County. We invite all eligible schools to apply!
For many students, bus transportation fees can be the deciding factor in whether they experience a meaningful field trip. Your support helps us continue funding these vouchers, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to connecting children with nature.
Your donation keeps these trips possible—breaking down financial barriers and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.
Give today and help send a bus full of kids to explore nature!
Just $9 sends one child on a bus trip to Black Hill.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your contribution is fully tax-deductible.
